So what is the simple low cost blueprint for starting an internet business that anyone can undertake irrespective of previous experience or technical knowhow? You do not need to spend much money, in fact you will need to spend more time than money when not just starting out but through the whole creation and building process.
You will find below a very simple blueprint that can be undertaken straight away for starting an internet business without having to spend much money but rather devote some time and take the necessary action and you will be making progress fast. If you start on a Monday, by Friday you will have a website live and you will be able to start to communicate with your target market.
The first step is that a niche, subject or sub niche requires to be chosen and it is preferable that you have an interest or passion in or knowledge of. Then undertake some research of keywords and phrases and write down a list of the ones most used in searches plus the number of pages for such terms on Google. Once this information is to hand, choose a domain name reflecting a keyword or phrase that has an adequate number of searches per month but does not have too much competition, and then buy it with the suffix .com or.org or .net. A website hosting package is required and this can often come free when buying a domain name.
You will now need a website. For the simplest and least technical method for achieving this, it is best to use a blog for your website platform. When the hosting account control panel is accessed, use the file manage and download WordPress blog platform for free. After this has been completed then configure and optimise your blog. You are then ready to start writing blog posts making sure that each one is focused on one keyword or phrase. Try and write a new one each day and it should contain your thoughts on a subject, give valuable information, raise points for discussion, review a product or service, anything you want but keep on topic and make it readable.
Targeted traffic is all important so in order to promote the blog you should write unique articles and publish them on article directories, leave posts on related forums and groups, write a press release and submit it to free distribution sites and enter the url in website/blog directories. Keep a regular schedule for posting more blog posts with a call to action at the end to for the reader to either sign up to your email list or to be directed to find more in depth information about a product or service you recommend.
This is a basic blueprint for starting an internet business and there are some blanks to fill in here but you should be able to appreciate that it is not very difficult. You can buy a domain for 2 years for up to $ 20 and hosting could actually come free for a period of time or for very little money. If you don’t have an info product as yet, then search for a suitable affiliate one on Clickbank or undertake a search on Google to find suitable affiliate programmes. As with things that are new to you, once the process is understood and action is taken it is not nearly as complicated and challenging as first though of.
